F2027 Carbine

This is the F2027 Carbine ordered by the EDF and produced by FNH. After the sucess's of the FG2000 and the F2026 with the Eastern Defence Force, FN was a run in for another contract with the EDF. With the introduction of tanks into their PMC, the EDF were looking for a small, powerful, personal defence weapon for its crews. With a split vote on who to give the contract too, multiple companies were asked to put designs on the table and by the end, three weapons were left in the running.
These weapons included the older, but tested M-48 CQB by Mobius Arms, the PDW-57 by Empire Arms Unlimited ([link]), and the F2027 Carbine by FNH. After many tests, the winner of the contract was FNH.
Now about the gun. The F2027 Carbine is a very small assault rifle, hints the word "Carbine". It's so small it can be wielded with one hand. When creating the FN Carbine, FNH looked to their well known SMG, the P90. As you can see, the F2027 uses the same top loading design.
Each of its clips can hold 24 rounds of 7.62 x 34 ammo. There is a modification that FNH will be releasing for the weapon that will decrease the rate of fire, but increase the size of the round to 7.62 x 54 along with increasing the amount of ammo in a clip by removing the sights. The f2027 has 3 firing modes including semi, burst, and full auto.
